WATER ACTIVITIES
Our programs include children aged 6 months to 12 years and are led by experts with years of experience.
Coaches work directly in the water with participants, often with support from parents.

Swimming adapted to each child, age and goal
Swimming adapted to each child, age and goal
Each program has a different focus, but they all share the same approach: safety, trust, play and gradual progress in the water.
How work in the water looks
The program does not start with technique, but with the child. We first build trust and a sense of safety, then introduce tasks that develop movement, breathing, balance and independence.
Getting used to water
The child gradually gets used to the space, sounds, water temperature and the coach's presence. The pace follows the child's response.
Safety and control
We practice entering and leaving the water, breathing, floating, turning and orientation in the pool through play and clear routines.
Movement and technique
When the child gains confidence, swimming technique elements, movement coordination and endurance tasks are introduced.
Independence
The goal is for the child to participate as independently as possible, with support gradually reduced when appropriate.
What the child gains through the program
Progress is followed through practical changes: safer behavior in water, better body control and a stronger willingness to participate.
- greater safety in and around water
- development of balance, coordination and movement control
- more confidence through small, achievable steps
- a habit of physical activity through play
- an opportunity for social connection and group participation
The role of parents and guardians
Parents are an important part of the process, especially for younger children and children who need more time to accept a new environment. Coaches provide clear information about the work process, while parents help transfer routines and a sense of safety beyond the pool.
Halliwick concept

The concept emphasizes relaxation, enjoyment, group work, socializing and games.
The program is implemented by trained Halliwick coaches.
